Stay longer than anyone ever did. Hold my trembling hands when I collapse on the floor crying, because baby, I will. Accept the mess that you still don't know that I am. Tell me my ribs are cages because my heart turned out to be a little wild creature. Build me up. And I promise. I promise you I will kiss your sadness away, until our lips burn and our faces hurt and there is no room left on your body for a different kind of pain. I will keep your demons entertained. I will not rest until you breathe happiness. I will steal galaxies from the gods to plant stars on your garden, because flowers die too quickly, and you deserve better than that. Stay a little longer, and if you ever need a light to lit your cigarette, I will set myself on fire.
